Off we went for a lovely weekend to Daventry(nearest train station Rugby 12miles). Fortunately for us Round 1 starts at 2pm. The Four Nations Chess League (otherwise known as 4NCL) is a team tournament held at various venues throughout England. Gawain’s current team is Pride and Prejudice.

The 4NCl is a great social event so we caught up with many people we hadn’t seen in a while and some we saw recently at the Olympiad. We look forward to the next 4NCl that will be held at the Barcelo Hotel, Hinckley Islandon the 15th & 16th of January.
