Home For The Next 10 Months

We’ve finally found a place (2 weeks ago but we didn’t have internet) that is centrally located on the Terrace quite near the Wellington Chess Club and the Beehive (Parliament). We haven’t visited that yet or Te Papa the museum, but will most likely do so when I have a friend visiting from Denmark in 3 weeks or so. Gawain has successfully done a simul with school age children and will be doing another on November 8th.

This weekend was Labour Weekend (kind of like a bank holiday) and we headed of to Christchurch to play in the All Canterbury Championships. Gawain and I battled it out in Round 4 where he emerged victorious. Gawain ended on a score of 5.5/6 conceding a draw to David Wood who fortunately for Ga doesn’t have a fide!
