Round 9 tomorrow for the Fide Open! Sorry for the lack of update but I’ve been busy running around and cooking for my lovely Gawain. Ga is currently leading with 7/8 alongside Simon Williams. He’s feeling in the zone and playing GM Neil McDonald tomorrow lunchtime. You can check out the games here. After a very slow and manoeuvring start Ga has notched up wins against GM Gupta,Williams as well as top seed Avruk all with crazy tactical chess – the Ga that we know and love. You can go to the website and download the pgns to view the games. This Thursday Ga will be off to Poland for the European Rapid & Blitz Championship.
